INDUSTRY DESCRIPTION
Climbing Facilities are premises designed and built for the sport of rock climbing, recreational climbing, or competitive climbing, including ascending, descending, and traversing over simulated rock surfaces that use belay systems in their normal operation. Traditional rock climbing has been going on for hundreds of years while the first indoor facility opened in Seattle in the late '80s.
